Businesses are not defended in Georgia, especially the small ones. In our district, people support their families with small businesses. The present day situation creates a lot of tension among citizens. One of the main causes is lack of information in this area.

The goal of this project was to help small business people in the Akhaltsikhe district. In Akhaltsikhe was based businesspersons' bulletin board on which the community could see the information given by employees of "Union of Democrat Meskhs". The information was interesting for people engaged in small business. On the bulletin board, you can see also information about changes made in legislation connecting to small business. There are also displayed resolutions made by the local Taxation System. Businesspersons have right to display any non-commercial information by themselves.

With the help of the local TV company "Lomsia" were transmitted six television programs on active questions. Governmental authorities answered citizens' questions directly during the program.

Our organization published a booklet in which all the rights and duties of the Governmental Offices in Akhaltsike were given. In some occasions, governmental officials declared that false information was given in our booklet. It was important to obtain signatures from representatives of Government organizations' authorities to prove the validity of the information given in the booklet. Therefore, the booklet was quite useful for the businesspersons.
