On 13 May 2004 the meeting was held at the Hospital of Akhaltsikhe District by the initiative of Akhaltsikhe Legal Consultation Centre. The meeting waw attended by the staff of legal consultation centre: Giorgi Meskheli, Giorgi Angduladze, Aleksander Kalaijev, Gocha Nebadze, Gamgebeli of Akhaltsikhe district Mindia Devnosadze, chief doctor of the hospital David Maisuradze and officials and personal of different departments of the hospital. 

The problems actual in Akhaltsikhe district hospital and the ways to solve them were discussed at the meeting. The main problem is the corruption at the hospital and financial problems that causes the poorest condition for medical cure. The hospital is almost paralysed, the population had to get medical cure in the worst conditions. Administration of the hospital plans to make strict order at the hospital and discharge the employees not implementing their duties they are responsible for.

At the meeting district Gamgebeli promised personal of the hospital that he will support them and will try to provide them with normal working conditions. Accordingly hospital administration and medical staff must not make population to pay more than it is included in the law.

    The chief doctor of the hospital mentioned that the hospital will be repaired and they will do everything to make normal conditions for population and they will be able to get medical treatment without paying any extra amount. Working conditions of the personal will be better. It includes not only providing them with medicine and equipment but increased salary as well.
